Aromatherapy uses:
Skin: astringent properties make it beneficial in cleansers, however, IFRA restrict usage due to increase possibility of contact dermatitis.
Antiseptic: Use in an Aroma diffuser to cleanse the air.
Nervous system: Refreshing, uplifting and energising aroma, great when clear thinking is needed, whether at work or studying at home.
Digestive system: digestive stimulant beneficial for indigestion, colitis and gastroenteritis.
Musculoskeletal system: Recommended for the treatment of sports injuries, sprains, bruises and dislocations as treats the connective tissue surrounding the skeletal muscle.
Safety: Non-toxic can be irritating and sensitising potential cause for contact dermatitis.
Suggested Blends:
Digestive massage: 1% in a carrier oil, peach kernel oil for example and massage in a clockwise motion follow the shape of the intestines.
Focus and study diffuser blend: 1 drop lemongrass, 1 drop Rosemary , 2 drops pine.
